Nellie is the owner of The Lawyers. She grew up in Dunkerton, Iowa, attending Don Bosco High School. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 2000 with BAs in English and Psychology, and earned her J.D. from Drake University Law School in 2011 graduating with Honors. Nellie worked at the Public Defender’s Office for many years and has tried over 50 criminal jury trials. Nellie practices criminal law, family law, and civil litigation. Nellie also does mediation in family law cases.

Nellie is a member of the Mason City Lions Club, the Iowa State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Nellie is licensed to practice In Iowa.
